A Napoleon or Napoleon Bonbon, also called Napoleon Ball, is a hard, spherical fruit sweet, packaged in a transparent cellophane. The outside is hard and sugar, filled with powder in the flavors lemon, orange, apple, cherry, and pineapple, which is released when the sugar layer is (partly) melted or when the candy is bitten in half.
